Delegates to APEC Singapore 2009 can be assured of a warm welcome and, with a host of hotels, sights and great restaurants, there’s plenty to keep you occupied and interested during your stay.


Please note the registration deadlines for Delegate Accreditation for the following meetings below.

Accreditation for all delegates should be done online. Delegates who register after the stipulated deadline may not be guaranteed an accreditation status by the start of the event.


Delegate Accreditation Officer (DAO)

In addition to the Delegation Liaison Officer (DLO), each delegation should appoint a Delegate Accreditation Officer (DAO) to aid with the registration process for the meetings. Please note that the DLO and DAO may be the same person.

All Delegates will register through the appointed DAO from their economy.

Note: If a DAO has been previously appointed and remains the same, it is not necessary to appoint a new DAO. Certificate of Accreditation

Upon successful accreditation, each delegate will receive a Certificate of Accreditation via email. Each delegate should print a copy of his/her Certificate of Accreditation for verification when collecting the ID Badge. Please note that the Certificate of Accreditation will only be issued upon successful registration.

ID Badge Collection

Delegates from the respective Groups will be able to collect their ID Badges at the Accreditation Counters during the times stated in the meeting's Adminstrative Circular.

Do you need to apply for a Business Visa?

All APEC delegates are required to possess a valid passport (with at least 6 months validity) to enter Singapore.

A Business Visa is required for ordinary passport holders from the People's Republic of China and The Russian Federation.

Delegates holding the abovementioned passport type can apply for their Business Visa online via the Singapore Immigration and Checkpoints Authority website: Submission of Application for Visa Electronically, or via their respective Singapore Overseas Missions, or representative offices.
